Prime Minister Narendra Modi filed his nomination papers for the Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency. He disclosed his total assets, which amounted to 3.02 crore rupees.
Despite not owning any house or car in his name, Prime Minister Modi is a crorepati, with investments alongside his assets.
His income for the financial year 2018-19 was 11,14,230 rupees, which increased to 23,56,680 rupees in 2022-23.
He has cash in hand amounting to 52,920 rupees and maintains bank accounts with a balance of 73,304 rupees in SBI's Gandhinagar branch and 7,000 rupees in the Varanasi branch.
Modi has fixed deposits worth 2,85,60,338 rupees in SBI and 9.12 lakh rupees in NSC.
Additionally, he possesses four gold rings valued at 2,67,750 rupees.
Comparing his assets from 2014 to 2019, Modi's wealth has significantly increased. In 2019, he declared assets worth 2.51 crore rupees, up from 1.66 crore rupees in 2014.
Prime Minister Modi sought re-election from the Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency, showing up at the Chandni Chowk for the occasion.
